Step by Step Guide

Becoming a shareholder in Propfund Germany is simple. We have ensured to simplify the process to allow foreign investors to participate in the fund and take advantage of this great investment opportunity. Read the steps below and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact our English speaking staff on 0049 30 499050950 (Germany) or 00353 1 9014 622 (Ireland) who can guide you through the process in a matter of moments.

1. Complete the “Instruction to Invest” on page 2 and send the original along with “Proof of Identity” and “Proof of Address” to the Propfund Germany offices in Berlin.

Note: For clients investing through their pension, the Pension trustee/provider is required to complete the “Instruction to Invest” on page 2 on behalf of the client along with the signed copy of the passport or identity card of the pension trustee.

2. The “Instruction to Invest”  (page 2) authorises the Trustee in Germany to formally apply for shares on behalf of the investor. The German Trustee will complete and sign the application form, known as the “Declaration of Accession” (see page 3: Annex- Declaration of Accession.

3. Once the declaration of shares has been accepted by the Fund Manager, a copy of signed “Declaration of Accession” is emailed to the investor or pension trustee along with instructions to transfer the Investment Contribution.

4. The Investor/Pension trustee will then transfer their Investment Contribution to the Propfund bank account in Germany. Receipt of funds is first confirmed by email. Once the 14 days “cooling” off period has expired, confirmation of funds along with a share certificate is sent to the investor/ pension trustee by post. This completes the Investment process.
